description
Tenders are invited for the supply of Domiciliary Care, Emergency 24/7 Care and Support and Core Support Services at the Parklands View Extra Care Scheme in Bath Street, Darley, Derby. Parklands View is a new Extra Care facility which will provide housing for 82 households. A total of 22 of the flats will be held in part ownership between Derby Homes and the individual owners, 60 of the flats will be held as tenancies.
The Contract includes the provision of:
Planned Domiciliary Care
The service will be available as required 7 days a week between the hours of 7.00 to 22.00. Planned care at night will include waking nights and sleep-ins to be covered from 22.00 to 07.00. Although entry to the site will require tenants to have eligible social care needs it is not possible to quantify the number of planned care hours as this is demand led and will vary according to need. Additionally residents may choose to take a direct payment and purchase their planned care from elsewhere.
24/7 Emergency Care and support
To be available 24/7, all day, every day without exception.
Core support Service
Equivalent to at least one hour per household per week. To be available during office hours (and occasionally at weekends and evenings to suit needs of customers) and to be delivered in partnership with the on-site housing provider Derby Homes.
The site will be operational in April 2016, with the first occupancy from 4th April 2016 and a maximum of 8 new tenants/owners entering the scheme each week. The Contract start date is 1st March 2016 for an initial period of 24 months. There is an option to extend the Contract for 3 further periods of 12 months. Maximum contract period is 5 years.
