ORE Catapult is delivering a Grid Emulation System ("GES") project referred to as 'eGrid'. This involves the installation of a GES at Blyth that will support industry activity in the North-East of England region. The project is funded with European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) support.

The eGrid project also comprises of engagement activities and events for the small and medium size enterprise ("SME") and academic/research organisations. A range of innovation advisory services including technology support, knowledge transfer and training will be offered to the SMEs. ORE Catapult can provide some of these consultancy and knowledge transfer services itself but will require support from external engineering training/consulting organisation to provide a full range of other services to maximise the benefits to SMEs.

The ORE Catapult reserve the right to award the Contract to one or more Contractors, up to a maximum of three (3), as deemed appropriate for the best interest of the business and the project.
