description

The subject matter of this procurement process relates to the delivery of services which are listed in Schedule 3 of the Public Contract Regulations.

The services provided under this contract relate to providing wraparound support services to Asylum Seekers arriving from Afghanistan as part of Operation Pitting. The contract enables and assists service users to access services including interpretation and translation services, healthcare; welcome and ongoing support; education; policing and security; safeguarding; finance, benefits and employment advice, and housing/benefits advice. Also, cultural orientation and wellbeing activities.

The number of service users and locations for delivery are flexible so that the Council can respond to Home Office direction and Oxfordshire's capacity. The contract is designed to allow spend to be flexed in line with the number of service users being provided for at a given time.

The contract has been awarded for a period of six (6) months with an option on the part of the Council, to extend for up to a further three (3) months, beginning on 1 October 2022.
