Phase Three of the existing Enterprise Development & Growth Greater Birmingham and Solihull (GBS) will follow on from Phase two of the programme, which ends in March 2022 and will support individuals in the GBSLEP area in exploring self-employment, and entrepreneurship, help new businesses start up and support young businesses in the critical early stages of their development and growth.
Phase Three of the Enterprise Development and Growth programme will deliver a range of start-up and business support activities, including specific targets and outputs in compliance with the requirements of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF), which is part funding the programme. ERDF targets and outputs must be achieved, but are a minimum requirement, and additional outputs, outcomes, and benefits from delivering business support and ensuring young business sustainability and growth should be achieved through the delivery of Phase 3.
Partners will work alongside the successful tenderer to deliver this contract, to ensure that:
- othere is effective and accessible start-up advice and support being delivered across the GBSLEP area;
- opotential entrepreneurs and new businesses seeking support can access it via the GBSLEP Growth Hub;
- oyoung businesses are linked effectively into the wider business support network across Greater Birmingham & Solihull, enabling them to access the resources that will support their future development and growth.
