A47 Thickthorn - Culverts

A47 / A11 Thickthorn Interchange

Galliford Try, as the East Region Delivery Partner are delivering the A47 / A11 Thickthorn Interchange project in the county of Norfolk in partnership with Highways England. The project will help relieve congestion at Thickthorn junction by providing two new free-flowing slip roads that will connect the A47 with the A11. The new slip roads will re-route traffic away from the junction and flow it under new underpasses.

The project has recently submitted a Development Consent Order to the Planning Inspectorate and the project is forecast to commence on site in early 2023 and will take around 2 years to complete.

Outline Scope of Works

Culverts - Provision of all labour, plant and temporary works as required to provide the subcontract works.

The estimate contract amount for this package is expected to be within the following range [£1,000,000 - £2,000,000]

Programme

It is anticipated that the culvert works will commence in January 2023.

To secure work with Galliford Try, a supplier will need to pass the PAS91 onboarding process administered through Builders Profile. Details will be shared with shortlisted suppliers.
