Upskilling teams that deliver community forensic support to people with learning disabilities and/or autism across Midlands and East of England: the development of a learning disability forensic essentials manual and coaching circles to support local delivery.
The primary objective of this procurement is to complete the two identified outputs which are;
- The development of a training manual covering essential forensic knowledge in the format of a number of topics that would be useful for anyone involved in specifying, developing or delivering a forensic service. These modules will assist CCG's, specialist trusts and service managers to develop a specialist function to deliver this support in their locality and will also support the development of an understanding of this workforce and successfully planning for the future
- The provision of training around the essential clinical skills contained within the essential forensic topics. This is to be delivered to groups of trusts in a coaching circle format that would facilitate any further "train the trainer" approach needed locally to cascade the knowledge into the designated workforce.
