Street Cleansing 2021

The operation is to include full width deep cleanse of identified paved & pedestrian areas, due to the sensitive nature of the infrastructure the preferred method is one using high heat low pressure to include the removal from all paved areas specified within the attached appendix all staining and chewing gum deposits. All completed areas must be cleansed to a standard that does not leave any unsightly striping or stippling effects that can occur if cleansing is uneven.

Maps of each area are attached on The Chest. You are advised to visit each of the areas prior to submitting your tender proposal in order to gain a better understanding of each area to be cleaned.

Indicative Working times;

The Deep Cleansing and Gum Removal cycle will be up to three times a year subject to weather conditions being suitable in agreement with the supervising officer.

Commencing the end of February into March .

Commencing the end of June into July.

Commencing the end of September into October.

Bidder to note that some areas require all 3 cleans, some are 2 cleans and some are a once only clean.
