Buckinghamshire Devolution Bid - Consultancy Support

Providing policy support - including developing further detail on the propositions, helping with conceptual framing and structure, advising on departmental policy priorities and strategic fit, and researching key aspects of similar agreements elsewhere

Supporting meeting preparation - drafting agendas, developing briefing notes on the objectives and background, producing slide packs and other materials, and attending preparatory meetings

Acting as a critical friend - advising on approach and strategy, and reviewing documents and slides Providing briefings on relevant policy or budgetary announcements - The Devolution and Local Recovery White Paper and Spending Review, using a combination of desk-based research and knowledge from our work elsewhere

Attending and providing advice to the Growth Board - assisting with the drafting of agendas and development of slide packs and other materials, and attending the meetings, either in a listening capacity, or to contribute to or facilitate a discussion

Attending strategy sessions with the Chief Executive and senior Council officers and partners - providing strategic advice on negotiations with Government
