The main tasks provided by the consultant are:
- oTo assist in progressing council owned development schemes through feasibility stage into delivery phase
- oSupport the Director - Housing and Operations as well as the newly appointed Chief Officer - Development and the existing team in Development matters
- oAdvising and supporting the need to brief officers and members in the options and possible development approaches to schemes
- oSupport the PMO function and comment and assist in creating systems and governance measures consistent with the size and risk profile of the team
- oSupport the sourcing, assessment and methods of consideration for potential development schemes suitable as a land pipeline.
