description
Derby City Council is working on behalf of the Primary Strategy Group and the local Opportunity Area Board by seeking tenders from interested parties who have a successful track record of providing school improvement support to teachers and which results in notable gains in progress and attainment for pupils.
The successful providers will work with the Council and the PSG School Improvement working group to identify 25 schools most in need of support. These schools will be invited to participate directly in the following programmes relevant to their needs:

| • | Lot 3 - Improving outcomes for children in Key stages 1 & 2 in Maths |
2020/21 programmes will require a particular focus upon:

| • | The nature of practice that enables disadvantaged pupils to flourish (close the gap). |
| • | Effective school leadership of approaches that support targeted priority groups of learners. |
| • | Strategies that can help with family engagement. |
| • | Practice that supports learning recovery and re-engagement in education, following COVID-19 |
The initial contract period is 6 (six) months; the contract is estimated to commence February 2021 and expire 31st August 2021.
