Birmingham City Council invites suppliers for the Manufacture, delivery , off loading , positioning and erection of a modular building to provide a two team changing facility at Cofton Park, Lowhill Lane, Rednal, Birmingham

  • Provision and erection including all external and ancillary works of a modular two team changing facility

The intension is for the works to be completed and invoiced in full before end of 31st March 2016.

Brief Description of Works:

Modular two team changing facility:

  • Manufacture, delivery to site, off loading, positioning and erection including all required foundation and substructure works of a modular building designed to provide a two team changing facility incorporating official change and meeting room. Including all associated WC’s and showers. All associated lighting, power and heating elements are to be incorporated.
  • Provision of all service connections ( water,electricity,and Calor gas supply )
  • Provision of all necessary drainage from the new building including connection to existing services and existing septic tank.
  • Supply and install underground Calor Gas tank ( 2,000 litre capacity )
  • Provide and lay 600mmx600mm paving slabs overall width 1200mm to the building perimeter

The Council will be using its e-tendering system (in-tend) for the administration and evaluation of this tender process, which along with the project scope and specification may also include requirements to provide the following for consideration:-

  • Company Profile – Turnover, Organograms, Client Relationships, Sales Pipeline, Professional Body Registration / Memberships
  • Trade and Bank references (where appropriate).
  • Evidence of acceptable H&S and Quality Management Systems & Practices
  • Evidence of insurances to support required levels of indemnity & liability
  • Evidence of recent project history working on similar projects in similar environments with supporting case studies and method statements
  • Evidence of compliance with Birmingham Business Charter for Social Responsibility
