description

Nottinghamshire County Council is undertaking a soft market testing exercise to capture initial ideas and to canvass independent views on the potential shape and model of therapy and counselling services for domestic abuse survivors and their children.

Nottinghamshire County Council's Domestic Abuse strategic vision is to be a place where survivors are supported to feel safe and rebuild their lives following domestic abuse. The provision of therapeutic support and counselling is part of the recovery process.

This soft market testing exercise is being conducted to seek views from existing therapy and counselling providers about key points on service delivery, accreditations, quality standards and availability to assist in shaping service models and specifications.
