SCC LH Orbis Procurement Recruitment Campaign

Surrey and East Sussex County Councils' procurement departments have been operating as a joint Procurement Service since 2012. In April 2015, the Councils established a joint public sector partnership, 'Orbis', with the vision of developing an integrated business service offering to their staff and customers.

Following a recent restructure of Orbis Procurement, a number of permanent positions have been identified.

Orbis Procurement is seeking a recruitment partner who understands the organisation's operating context and will help meet its objectives. In particular, to contribute to the creation of a Procurement department that has the passion and expertise to deliver innovation and great customer service.

It is critical that the successful Supplier is able to utilise innovation and expertise in recruiting within the procurement sector, to identify potential candidates who possess the suitable attributes and competencies and be able to coordinate this in order to improve staff retention.

The successful Supplier must be able to demonstrate the capacity to source candidates across the geographical localities of Surrey and East Sussex.

It is envisaged that the successful Supplier will run a multi-faceted and targeted recruitment campaign that will 'go live' on 16 January 2017. It is envisaged that the recruitment will take a phased approach (3 phases) between January and March 2017. The contract will be for 6 months initially, with the option to extend by a further 6 months if required.
