GB-Bristol: Procurement of Visors and Battery Charger Kits for the Fire Control Application (FCA) Units

The Artillery Systems Team, part of the Armoured Vehicles Programme, operating within the Defence Equipment and Support of the UK Ministry of Defence hereby wishes to annouce the placement of a Single Source contract with GRID Defence Systems Limited for supply of visors and battery charger kits for support of the Fire Control Application (FCA) hardware equipment for the FC BISA project. The visors and battery charger kits are required by users of the FCA hardware to ensure the equipment is suitable to be fielded in extreme weather conditions and to allow flexibility for fielding of the FCA on operations. This contract was placed on a single source basis; the visors and battery charger kits required for the Fire Control Application are proprietary equipment to GRID Defence Systems Limited and must be compatible with the Fire Control Application Units, which are also produced by GRID Defence Systems Limited.
