16-061 Rotherham Master-plan

Rotherham Borough Council are looking for a provider to produce and draft a Masterplan and site options for Rotherham Town Centre, including an implementation plan to turn the vision and plans into reality and also test the viability and deliver-ability of the proposals, plus soft market testing (includes plans, visuals and written documentation). It will outline the key requirements necessary to set out a site specific vision for the delivery of a connected and prosperous wider town centre and river frontage. The Masterplan should ensure that a transformational approach to development is achieved creating jobs for the future and enabling a new chapter in the economic growth of the Borough. The anticipated maximum budget available for this project is in the region of £130,000. However this does not carry any guarantee of turnover and any estimated volumes of business are indicative and may vary upwards or downwards depending on actual future needs. It is anticipated that the draft Masterplan, including site options and deliver-ability, strategy and soft market testing shall be available by the middle of March 2017 with a public launch April 2017.
