NWP/24750 CONTRACT FOR THE PROVISION OF OUT OF COURT

DISPOSAL REFERRAL OPTIONS - VICTIM AWARENESS COURSES TO

NORTH WALES POLICE.

THE CONRACT PERIOD IS FOR AN INITIAL PERIOD OF 1 YEAR

COMMENCING OCTOBER 2016 WITH A POTENTIAL TO EXTEND FOR A

FURTHER 4 YEARS IN MULTIPLES NOT EXCEEDING 12 MONTHS.

Out of Court Disposals is an option for dealing with certain offenders who have committed minor offences in the form of Community Resolution or Conditional Caution. Courses are intended to deflect the offender from re-offending by re- educating and re-habilitating in order to make them aware of the wider implication of their actions and the effect on their victim.
