description

The University has procured a CO Rebreathing Analyser for the Faculty of Health and Wellbeing (HWB) and our Advanced Wellbeing Research Centre (AWRC) currently under construction.

A Carbon Monoxide rebreathing analyser is used to assess red blood cell volume, plasma volume and total blood volume. Since blood pressure, oxygen delivery and the transport of vital nutrients around the body is dependent on these fundamental aspects of human function high precision assessments are required to make measurements of these critical clinical markers of health and performance.
