Tender for Catchment Walkovers: Bagmere, Chapel Mere, Hatch Mere, Norbury Meres,

The purpose of the project is to carry out catchment walkovers of the surface water catchments of Bagmere, Chapel Mere, Hatch Mere, Norbury Meres, Oak Mere, Quoisley Meres and Tabley Mere. The walkovers should be completed following the methodology developed by the Environment Agency and detailed in operational instruction 356_12.

The walkovers require continuous walking alongside the watercourses within the catchments and recording any visible evidence of pollution by sediments or nutrients to the adjacent watercourse The results from the project will enable Natural England to identify sources of diffuse water pollution and enrichment and address these implications through the implementation of agri-environment schemes and other measures at Natural England's disposal.
