World Gymnastics Championships Liverpool 2022 - Communications & PR Agency

The LOC for the World Gymnastics Championships 2022 (WGC2022) is undertaking a procurement exercise to identify and appoint a single agency to create and deliver multidiscipline, targeted communications and PR which accurately meet the event's strategic objectives by capturing the imaginations of, and encouraging action of, the agreed target audiences. The activity will also;

-Place gymnasts at the heart,

-Showcase the sport of gymnastics to new audiences,

-Showcase the city of Liverpool as a global host and destination, -Position the event as world-leading, innovative and ethically responsible.

Furthermore, the staging of the event will provide the Championships and its partners with opportunities to inspire communities through sport and this should be reflected in all communications.

It is anticipated that the agency support will begin in earnest in July 2021 and continue for approximately 16 months to October 2022. The support shall naturally build towards the event, with some initial planning work required, and will be remain flexible around the ebb-and-flow of the traditional lifecycle of an event of this kind.
