description

The university currently has 3 sites using a mix of Trend and Honeywell equipment, Canterbury, Farnham and Epsom The systems vary in age and technology

The goals of the project will be:

To ensure the best performance from the Trend / Honeywell Building Management System

(BMS), as well as the plant and equipment it controls, it is essential to provide adequate maintenance. Whilst the Trend BMS is extremely reliable, ongoing optimum performance of plant and control will only be achieved by the implementation of an effective system of maintenance and management.

A properly maintained and managed Trend BMS system will:

  • Reduce operating costs
  • Reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions
  • Minimise plant downtime by effective alarm monitoring and response
  • Extend plant life using anticipation of plant failure
