P0663 - Utilities Bureau Service - AWARD

The Council requires a supplier for the provision utilities bureau and bill validation services.

The requirement is split into 2 separate Lots as follows. Bidders may bid for one or both lots. Applicants should indicate which lots they are bidding for. No more than one Applicant will be appointed to each lot.

Lot 1 Gas and Power Lot 2 Water

The Contractor will be required to support Birmingham City Council through the delivery of the service including, but not limited to, and pursuant to the other parts of this Contract, the following activities and facilities:

• oAccount management
• oUtility bill validation and processing
• oBilling query system integrated with utility suppliers
• oDetailed monthly high level reporting
• oAdditional/regular energy reporting requirements
• oManagement of meter operator agreements
• oHelp desk provision
• oSupport for utility procurement
• oAttendance of meetings
• oCalculation of utility budgets
• oCalculation of utility accruals
• oBenchmarking
• oMonthly KPI reporting

This contract will be for a period of 15 months commencing 1st January 2021 until 31st March 2022.
