description

Animal & Plant Health Agency (APHA) hold quality standards ISO 9001, ISO 17025 and ISO 17020. APHA are seeking an independent Supplier to provide on-site based training services for a range of professional courses over a four year period (2017 – 2021), with particular emphasis on design and delivery of scheduled quality courses.

These are identified below: -

  1. Introduction to ISO 9001:2015
  2. ISO 9001:2015 Internal QMS Auditors Training
  3. Introduction to ISO 17025
  4. ISO 17025 for Internal Auditors
  5. Introduction to ISO 17020
  6. ISO 17020 for Inspectors.
  7. Root Cause Analysis.

The above courses will be held at the employee’s classroom based training sites in the area of Surrey, York and Worcester England. However, any changes to these locations will be notified well in advance. The number of delegates will be circa 12 to 15 on each course. It is envisaged course dates will be identified in advance of each new financial year and scattered throughout the forthcoming year. With this in mind plenty of notice will be given to schedule events however we require flexibility on occasion to accommodate a 6 week lead time.

It is envisaged that face to face training will be the primary method of delivery. Initial preference is for an interactive workshop where participants are active in both discussion and practice of the technique/skills that are being explored. The inclusion of examples are also requested to make learning as ‘real life’ as possible. Our evaluation of training has shown our learners respond better to this blended approach.

Whilst our preference would be to have one supplier that can meet all our requirements we also recognise that this may not be possible. Therefore, we will divide the specification into eight lots.

Providers wishing to bid for the provision of training must provide evidence of trainers being on the International Register of Certified Auditors (IRCA).
