DUD - Repair & Replacement of Below Ground Wholesome Water Services

Dudley MBC's Housing Maintenance Team (HMT) has a requirement for the repair and replacement of below ground wholesome water services to council owned properties throughout the Dudley Borough. Provision is also required for Out of Hours working to cover a 365 day service.

The contractor must be able to provide all of the following services:-

• Location of underground burst.
• Provide entry of service into property where required, including all builders work to make good.
• Repair water service pipes, any size, any depth, where required.
• Alternatively, replace existing service by means of moling.
• Repair or replace stop taps, guard chambers or surface boxes including making good surround.

NB. The Contractor may also be required to carry out works for other Directorates within the Council. Any such requests will be in writing in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract and the contract Schedule of Rates will apply to such works.
