description

Leicester City Council invites tenders from experienced and competent software providers to deliver a system that can monitor NHS Health Checks carried out by the GP surgeries within the City.

The proposal is to procure an IT solution for the NHS Health Checks programme that may be utilised so as to improve efficiency and accuracy in the reporting of number of Health Checks undertaken by the Providers of this service (the GPs of Leicester City).

The solution will help remove current issues related to reporting of the Health Checks programme and will improve both the data reconciliation and payment processes.

Also, the solution will also allow Leicester City Council (as Commissioners) to more accurately ascertain the exact number of people within Leicester City who are still eligible for a Health Check (currently this is estimated using a national methodology) and so help to more accurately understand the demand on the service.
