description
Providers are invited to engage with this market testing activity to help inform adult physical healthy lifestyle services in Warwickshire.
Warwickshire County Council (WCC) currently commission seven health improvement and lifestyle contracts for adults (aged 16+). The services provide behaviour change support interventions and promote prevention messaging relating to physical activity, weight management, stop smoking and health checks in primary and community settings. The aim of which is to encourage and support residents to lead healthier lifestyles, and prevent long term health conditions, such as cancer, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, and obesity.
WCC are inviting organisations delivering or interested in delivering adult healthy lifestyle services to contribute to the services model.
The market testing will inform the understanding of the potential of the local market to provide the required support offer and to explore innovative ways of delivering the support services to improve the physical health of Warwickshire residents. This information will be used to decide how WCC go forward with the services in a different format.
This also provides the opportunity for organisations that may only be able to provide aspects of the service offer to demonstrate their capabilities or interest in delivery parts of the service. Your participation will also contribute ideas as to how the current services may be improved for people.
We would like to engage with organisations, in a confidential setting, so that we can ensure we have considered all possible options and any associated risks and issues during our procurement process.
