Marketing Consultant Services

The GC Business Growth Hub wishes to procure a senior, experienced marketing consultant on a freelance basis for up to a maximum of two days a week (to be worked as an average over the life of the contract). The Contract is initially in place for six months, with the potential to extend and a break clause as required. On occasions, the successful provider will also be required to undertake projects on behalf of the Growth Company if required.

The existing GC and GC Business Growth Hub Marketing Team does not currently use marketing consultants and a need has been identified based on the requirement to deliver certain large-scale, ringfenced projects and programmes, for which there is not currently senior management resource. The consultant will be expected to deliver strategic support as well as tactical delivery, overseeing projects, programmes or events end-to-end as required by the Marketing Director or Head of Business Marketing, to support the internal Marketing Team.

Additional information: The contract period will be from the award date for a period of six months, with an option, to be exercised at GM Business Support Limited sole discretion for an additional 6 months.

Day rate: Not to exceed £350 per day including all expenses (any costs owed to recruitment agencies to be borne by the contractor and not GC).

The contract will be for a maximum of two days per week averaged over the period of the contract. No guarantee is given that the full allocation of time will be required, and payment will only be paid for the time worked at the daily rate. On occasions the provider may be required to work more than the two per week whilst on other weeks the provider may not be required.

The likely value of activity under this framework will be between £15,000 and a maximum of £20,000 excluding VAT. In the event of any extension the total spend on this contract will not exceed £40,000.
