DPS Call-Off contract for Rapid Literature Review: Effective Systems - Research 2.

This procurement was undertaken through the CCS Research and Insights Dynamic Marketplace DPS (RM6126) following a further competition.

This procurement was undertaken through the CCS Research and Insights Dynamic Marketplace Dynamic Purchasing Agreement (RM6126). The Call-Off contract was awarded following a further competition process.

The Contractor will be undertaking a rapid literature review focusing on effective systems in health and adult social care.

This rapid literature review should seek to:

1)Synthesise what is known about effective health and care systems that provide high quality care, identifying the key characteristics of these systems, and the conditions that support them, focusing on those systems where assessment or evaluation has determined them to be well-performing, and their effectiveness has been shown to benefit the needs of the local population.
2)Synthesise evidence about the factors that enable systems to improve their performance as well as barriers to improvement.
3)Synthesise transferable insight from across different definitions of systems in health and social care to reflect the ongoing development of these entities and prior learning from different system configurations (e.g. New Care Models and Vanguards).
4)Reflect on how existing research can be used to inform CQC's assessment of Integrated Care Systems (ICS) and Local Authorities

The contract is awarded for 5 months ending 3rd June 2023.
