description
The SSRO is seeking to award a 3 year contract for the provision of web-based access to legal resources, covering as a minimum:
| 1. | Up to date legislation and statutory instruments and linked case law references and commentary; |
| 2. | Comprehensive databases of UK and EU case law; |
| 3. | Encyclopaedias, commentary, journals and practice guides in the following areas: |
| (a) | Procurement and contracts; |
| (b) | Administrative and public law; |
| (c) | Civil procedure, including Judicial Review; |
| (d) | Access to information, particularly: freedom of information, data |
protection, GDPR and official secrets;
| (e) | Employment law; and |
| 4. | Comprehensive precedent documents. |
The SSRO is also seeking pricing for the following additional services (or equivalents), which it may purchase at its sole discretion -
- Law of Public and Utilities Procurement, volume 1 (3rd Edition), Arrowsmith;
| 6. | Chitty on Contracts, volume 1 (33rd Edition), Beale; and/or |
| 7. | Public Procurement Law Review. |
The Service should meet the following requirements:
- Resources must be updated promptly to reflect developments in the law;
- Resources must be available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 a year, subject to a minimum level of disruption which the bidder should specify in the tender.
- Resources must be available for two concurrent users.
