The UEA is a leading University situated in East Anglia United Kingdom and provides a high level of education for a variety of subjects. The University of East Anglia has a reputation for providing a high level of student satisfaction and has also been a pioneer in low carbon technologies one of which was the installation of 3 Combined Heat and Power (CHP) engines in 1999. These engines have now come to the end of their useful life and this opportunity relates to the replacement of the engines and their associated equipment. This includes installation, commissioning and subsequent maintenance. A separate project to remove the existing engines and make the necessary alterations to enable the installation of new engine is currently underway and will be complete prior to commencement of this project.

The University of East Anglia (UEA) seeks to replace its gas CHP plant within Energy Centre

  1. (main boiler House).

The work shall include the design and selection of CHP engines of a level that will provide the University the maximum return on investment for the next ten years.
