High Street MSCP 4 – Major Electrical Works

The High Street car park is a multi-storey car park located on Ring Road in Bracknell. It is comprised of nine levels, each level making up half of the building.

There are two cores (North and South). The northern core contains an access stairwell and two lifts. The southern core contains an access stairwell and three lifts, one of which is a dedicated DDA compliant lift which only travels from the ground floor to the fourth floor.

There is also an additional core containing a stairwell at the centre of the eastern side of the building. The project aims to complete the following:

Strip out the existing, and a complete rewiring throughout the car park.

Strip out the existing, and installation of new distribution system throughout the car park.

Strip out the existing, and installation of LED fittings throughout the car park area and roof level.

Strip out the existing, and installation of new fire alarm system within the car park area.

Strip out the existing, and installation of a new emergency lighting system. The new emergency lighting system is to be made up of self-contained units.

Strip out the existing small power within the office area (VINCI office space) and installation of new small power inclusive of dado trunking.

Provide power supply for upcoming external lighting project.

All electrical works in and supplied from the south lift room are excluded as are currently supplied by Shopping Centre and are proposed to remain as existing.

Additional information: The contractor is a member of the “Electrical Contractors Association (ECA).
