description
NHS England & Improvement is seeking to appoint a strategic coproduction partner for the CYP team in the Learning Disability and Autism Programme.
There is a commitment in the LTP to involve people and groups that represent communities and coproduce with families and carers to develop and deliver plans regionally and in ICSs.
We work with parent carers in a number of different ways in the CYP team to embed coproduction. This includes ensuring that individual parent carers are part of the governance for different pieces of work and hearing the voices of a wider group of parents through a coproduction group. We have also begun to work with some user led partners in a more strategic way across a number of work areas. This requires those partners to have connections across the education health and social care system, nationally, regionally and locally. There is a close linkage between our work programme, its delivery, and the work across Government on Special Educational Needs and Disabilities and wider systems such as NHS Led Provider Collaboratives and Integrated Care Systems (ICSs).
Budgets have or are being been devolved to each of the 7 NHS England and Improvement regions to deliver specific LTP commitments for CYP.
We want to support regional and local areas to embed coproduction at a strategic and individual level to ensure the best outcomes. We can do this by making this an ask of our specifications, as in keyworking, but also to support strategic coproduction organisations to engage in that with the NHS at a national, regional and local level.
