Background
Demand for placements continues to put pressure on existing provision. Both the Trust and providers alike continue to operate within a challenging economic climate.
Purpose
Doncaster Children's Services Trust wishes to meet with existing and new providers of placements for looked after children, including those within the fostering, residential and 16 plus arenas. The main discussion points and areas for focus during the event include (but are not limited to):
| • | The current challenges faced by the Trust and providers in meeting the needs of children / young people including the challenge to meet local sufficiency requirements. |
| • | The options and / or ideas for addressing those challenges and any barriers and / risks; |
| • | Current placement activity - trends, themes etc; |
| • | How can the voice of the young person influence the options being provided to them |
Providers are asked to limit delegate numbers to a maximum of two please.
We would welcome your participation and if you are able to attend then please copy and paste the link below into your browser and complete the RSVP form.
