Rotherham Metropolitan Borough Council (RMBC) is inviting bids from a number of organisations who might be able to provide a solution that meets the needs of RMBC for an email gateway. The current functionality is provided by a Trustwave MailMarshal SMTP platform on version 6.7.2.8378. We are seeking options to upgrade or replace this system as it is becoming end of life. Rotherham MBC currently has 5732 mailboxes, many of which are in generic service and function names and has 4100 users licensed under the current Microsoft ESA RMBC currently run different installations on external email gateway, Government Connect email gateway, internal SMTP server etc. The agreement for support, maintenance, definition updates and licensing will be awarded for a period of three years. The details set out in this RFQ are given in good faith and believed to be correct. However, RMBC does not warrant the accuracy of those details and each Tenderer should make its own appropriate enquiries.
