The National Horizons Centre project is receiving up to £3.2m of funding from the England European Regional Development Fund as part of the European Structural and Investment Funds Growth Programme 2014-2020. The Department for Communities and Local Government (and in London the intermediate body Greater London Authority) is the Managing Authority for European Regional Development Fund.

Established by the European Union, the European Regional Development Fund helps local areas stimulate their economic development by investing in projects which will support innovation, businesses, create jobs and local community regenerations. The contract will be in the name of Teesside University (the "Client") Borough Road, Middlesbrough, TS1 3BX.

The Contract is for the design, supply and installation of a new CO2 supply to the NHC2.09 Biochemistry Laboratory at the National Horizons Centre, Darlington.

The Contract shall be as described in the Specification and shall be for a period of one week, commencing 18 November 2019.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
