SUEZ BODMIN - REFURBISHMENT OF EXISTING RESOURCE BULDING

Corserv Ltd on behalf of Cormac Solutions Ltd are looking for an Architect for the above Design Works.

Works are to include expanding the SUEZ Bodmin recycling processing facility and alterations to the existing resource building into a welfare facility.

Works will be carried out under a Design and Build Contract with Clarke Bond as Principle Designer for the Substructure and Superstructure Design, as SD Solutions as M&E Designer and Co-Ordinator.

We require a Fee Proposal for an Architect for the design works to alter the existing resource building into a new welfare facility for the site as per the attached floor plan. And also please state your hourly rate for any additional works that may be required.

The approximate value of works for the Main Building works is £400,000 and the approximate value of works for the Drainage £170,000.

At the minute we don't have the existing floor plan but it is an open plan space at present.

You will be provided with the following:

• Floor and roof plans, elevations and sectional elevations
• Employers Requirements scheduling fixtures, fittings and decoration on an existing drawing
• A copy of the CDM Pre-Construction information pack and a copy of the HSE F10 Project Notification
• Record drawings showing the original construction

Your fee proposal should include the following allowances and assumptions:

• Works by other consultants nor statutory application fees (eg Building Regulations) to be excluded
• You should allow for 3 site visits, 3 design team meetings, liaison with the project team and for discharging your duties under the CDM Regulations as Designers
• SBEM Consultant Services will be undertaken by others
• We would require construction drawings for approximately Mid October in order to get enquiries out to Contractors for the work.
