description
This notice follows the previously issued advertisement (CF-26275).NHS North East London Integrated Care Board (NEL ICB), hereafter referred to as "The Authority", invites interested individuals and Providers to attend up to two Engagement Events in advance of publication of the NEL 111 procurement.
Attendees will be asked to provide feedback after the event.
Background
- NEL ICB has started the discovery phase of designing a new 111 model of care for our residents. Our current 111 Integrated Urgent Care (111 IUC) service contract is due to expire (new service start date to be confirmed)
- Given the changes during and after the Covid-19 pandemic to 111 services, NEL ICB is working to develop a new model that considers other key transformational deliverables across our sector, including the Fuller Review Recommendations and Same Day Access Services.
Engagement Events
The Authority plans to hold two interactive engagement events:
- An online event via MS Teams on Thursday the 17th of October from 10:00 - 13:00
- An in-person event on Thursday the 24th of October from 13:00 - 17:00
The Events will provide:
- An overview of the current and proposed service provision.
- Details of the anticipated contract type, length, and particular conditions.
- An overview of the proposed commissioning approach and procurement route.
- Indicative timescales for the procurement.
Registration
Reservations are limited to no more than 3 individuals per organisation.
Details of those to be invited must be sent to the Procurement Lead (kieran.james-paterson@nhs.net) using the attached registration form by Thursday the 10th of October at 14:00pm.
Further information on both events will then be provided to those who express an interest in attending.
Questionnaire
An engagement questionnaire is also attached.
We are reaching out to the market and connected individuals to better understand your views of 111 in general; and to also understand what directly impacts organisational decisions to bid for potential new services.
We are looking for responses to support us in transforming 111 for the future and appreciate your time in completing this survey.
Questionnaire responses submitted will remain confidential and information gathered will be used for the sole purpose of informing the upcoming procurement process.
Questionnaire responses must be submitted by Thursday the 31st of October at 14:00pm.
