Quotations are invited for the supply of Mediation Services in a housing management context.
The Council currently uses mediation as a key early intervention tool in the management of anti-social behaviour cases and disputes to:
- Prevent cases from escalating.
- Reduce legal action.
- Support legal action where mediation has failed.
- Reduce intervention by statutory agencies.
- Sustain tenancies and build communities.
Mediation may be used in disputes including (but not limited to) noise, damage, property, children, animals, rubbish, boundaries, common parts, shared facilities, offensive and abusive behaviour.
We require the successful provider to deliver a flexible and tailored mediation and dispute resolution service on a case by case basis.
