Adaptive Traffic Signals Control Support Contract

The Council has identified the need for consultancy support to provide expertise to our traffic signals team specifically in MOVA and SCOOT control in their role in traffic signal design, configuration and validation to both existing and new traffic signal installation throughout the county of Worcestershire. It incorporates:

• a)The review of congested junctions
• b)Problem solving at sites with existing signals including design improvements,
• c)Design of new signal junctions and the review of third party designs for new signal junctions
• d)On site configuration and validation for adaptive signal control
• e)Ongoing monitoring of the strategies/methodologies implemented during peak, off peak, planned and unplanned incidents.
• f)Practical on the job training for the Worcestershire Traffic Signal team in all of the above (a-e)

The Council has identified the need for a single supplier agreement that enables direct awards (call-offs) for these services.
