SBC0416 Repair and Refurbishment Works to 29 Town Square and 38 Queensway Stevenage - AWARD

Stevenage Borough Council is looking for competent contractors to tender for core shell building alteration works, forming new retail units over two floors at existing property 29 Town Square, Stevenage.

The contract will be the JCT Minor Works Building Contract 2011 incorporating amendment 1 issued March 2015. The contractor should note that internal inspection of the premises is not possible, see Section 3 and Section 4 for further details and full scope of the works. This tender requires contractors to undertake a mandatory external site visit and certify that they have done so in order to submit a bid.

Outline scope of works: Internal demolition of a goods lift shaft and partial demolition of a concrete staircase, internal strip out, infilling of floor apertures, installation of above and below ground drainage, construction of internal division walls, alterations to existing building, re-covering of flat roofs, installation of new electrical and water services.
