Insurance and Claims Handling Services for right to buy leasehold insurance and tenants content insurance.

Royal Greenwich is seeking to award a contract for Insurance and Claims Handling Services for right to buy leasehold insurance and tenant’s content insurance.

The Council invites Bids for a contractor to provide Insurance and claims handling services for the following 2 lots (the Services).

Lot 1 - Buildings of Leasehold Flats and Mortgaged properties Lot 2 - Tenants Contents Insurance

The Contract Period for both lots is for a period of five years although the Council reserves the right to extend the Contract on the same terms for a further period or periods of up to twenty four months making a total possible Contract Period of seven years.

Additional information: If a tenderer wishes to do so, bids may be submitted for individual lots or both lots. Where bids are submitted for individual Lots 1 to 2, these bids may be accepted in isolation. If a bidder submits a tender for a combination of lots or both lots and bids cannot be separated out then the tenderer will only be considered for that combination of lots or both lots.

The Council reserves the right not to award any contract pursuant to this procurement exercise and / or to abandon this procurement exercise at any time and / or award a contract for a part of the services at its sole discretion. The council shall have no liability whatsoever to any applicant or tenderer as a result of it exercise of

that discretion. For the avoidance of doubt, all costs incurred by any applicant and / or tenderer before signature of any contract with the Council shall be incurred entirely at the applicant's / tenderer's risk.

Closing date to request and be issued tender documents is 23.11.2015;

Closing date for tenderers to ask questions or seek clarifications is 24.11.2015 Closing date for receipt of completed tender submission is 12:00 on Monday 30.11.2015.
