description
The Office of the Durham Police and Crime Commisioner (ODPCC) wishes to appoint a contractor to renew its existing wide area network circuits and associated maintenance services.
The Contract shall have an initial term of 5 years, with the option to extend by up to 2 further periods, each of 1 year.
The Contract may include, but not be limited to:
Provision of wide area network services;
Ongoing provision and cessation of wide area network circuits;
Maintenance services.
It is intended that the Contract be flexible to accommodate ODPCC requirements.
As technology and public attitude to police contact changes, there is a need to look at value for money in the delivery of wide area network services. The ODPCC has a requirement to save money and realise significant savings, along with the need to drive efficiencies through procuring a wide area network system which is flexible, robust and value for money

Please note that the estimated value range and contract dates include a 5 year initial term and potential 2 year extension period.
