Contract to manage a Design Competition for a national memorial

We would like to invite any interested parties to an engagement day held by Department for Communities and Local Government (DCLG) with a view to understanding the possibilities around holding a design competition for a new high profile national memorial based on Central London. This project will be extremely high profile and attract intense media and public attention.

The department would require:

• consultancy services to help design an appropriate design competition process
• administrative service to run the competition
• advisory support during the competition on best practice
• introductions into new and existing design practices

The process will generate national media coverage and be capable of withstanding significant scrutiny, as well as retaining as far as possible the support of an extremely diverse and vocal stakeholder community. It will need to deliver a design that is nothing short of world leading, while remaining mindful of financial and practical limitations
