description

The University wishes to purchase two identical plant growth cabinets. This will permit direct comparisons of plant growth at different conditions using a variety of stress factors. The addition of two separate units that can be used as one resource when required for specific experimental designs is essential. The fact that they can, at other times, be used independently will be beneficial to our School of Natural and Environmental Sciences (SNES) and will be valuable and much needed additions to the limited plant growth resources currently within the school.

Each cabinet will need:

i)to be a capacity of circa 700-750L
ii)three shelves
iii)broad spectrum LED lighting (if possible, a far-red option)
iv)an independent CO2 control to allow a variety of experiments
v)humidity control

Please provide evidence that your proposed cabinets meets these requirements.

Additional optional extras if possible: ability to control the system remotely

Please state the details of length of any standard warranty included, and cost of options to extend further and also the cost of any service contracts you offer.
