Norfolk County Council were seeing a suitable provider to deliver specialist stop smoking services. The service comprises the following elements:
- oSpecialist stop smoking service delivered by trained advisors, worth around ?6.6m over the potential full term of 9 years.
- oA focus on engaging communities where smoking prevalence is highest.
- oWorking with local vape retailers to deliver an e-cigarette service (vouchers and direct supply.
- oTraining and governance of locally commissioned service providers (including GP practices, pharmacies and other community providers.
- oWorking with the Integrated Care System to deliver on its requirements of the NHS long term plan.
