GB-Leeds: Interpreter Training Facility

Supply, installation and ongoing maintenance of a Interpreter training facility at the university of Leeds.

ITF2 conference area contains a conference table, accommodating 10 delegates plus the chairperson/tutor, enclosed by 7 interpreter booths, 5 of which accommodate dual interpreter positions, the remaining two being single interpreter booths.

The Centre for Translation Studies is proposing to replace the current electronics with a professional conference system, incorporating digital recording facilities, aimed to provide a realistic environment for interpreter training.

Additional information: The contracting authority considers that this contract may be suitable for economic operators that are small or medium enterprises (SMEs). However, any selection of tenderers will be based solely on the criteria set out for the procurement.
