Health Education England Delivery of PEEP Recommendations - AWARD

The Paramedic Evidence Based Education Project (PEEP) report, published by the Department of Health's (DH) Allied Health Professionals Health Education Advisory Group in August 2013, began the work of addressing the urgent need to investigate the potential contribution that a well-educated and highly trained paramedic workforce could make to the healthcare landscape.

HEE are looking for an organisation to deliver and implement elements of the PEEP recommendations, for example:

• oSupport continuous professional development for paramedics
• oMaintain the career framework, curricula and scope of practice for paramedics
• oDevelop the professionalisation of the paramedic profession
• oFacilitate the drive towards leadership within the profession
• oManagement and co-ordination of key stakeholders to ensure consistent guidance and implementation of PEEP recommendations elsewhere
• oMaintain post-graduate curriculum guidance for paramedics and other paramedic education guidance
• oAny other tasks or work that will lead towards the PEEP report recommendations and the development of the paramedic profession.
