The purpose of this framework will be to provide a structure under which projects can be let for the provision of monitoring and evaluation of Environmental and Countryside Stewardship agreements. Natural England has a remit to manage the Environmental and Countryside Stewardship Schemes on behalf of Defra. The Environmental and Countryside Stewardship Schemes are run under the Rural Development Programme for England (RDPE).
