The NMC currently maintains several office locations and hearings centres across the UK. Most of the locations are already furnished with equipment such as microphones and cabling, but at least part of it needs upgrading. The NMC wishes to:
•Record all hearings and preliminary meetings in electronic form;
•Provide any party to the proceedings, who applies for one, with a transcript of any part of the hearing or preliminary meeting at which she/he was entitled to be present.
