Capability to simulate groundwater flow and transport using a

  • Capability to simulate groundwater flow and transport within fractured rock, including Discrete Fracture Network (DFN) and Equivalent Continuous Porous Media (ECPM) modelling.
  • Capability to simulate hybrid models (part DFN, part (E)CPM).
  • Functionality for transport calculations, either as an inert tracer (concentration field) or through particle tracking algorithms.
  • Flexible import functionality to include geological and structural information, lithological bodies/surfaces, borehole information etc.
  • Gridding functionality suitable for DFN, CPM or hybrid models.
  • Flexible export functionality of model output to support integration with other work streams (e.g., post-closure safety).
  • Functionality for density-driven flow due to variations in groundwater salinity (e.g., through transport of a saline tracer).
