Horsham District Council - Christmas Illuminations

Horsham is a medieval market town in the heart of rural West Sussex and boasts over 60 restaurants and cafes and a good range of shopping in a compact and easily accessible centre, much of which is pedestrian friendly. An extensive programme of markets and free public events, trails, museum and gallery exhibitions, music and entertainments add hugely to the Horsham Experience and set it apart from many towns of its size. The Council is looking for a scheme which:

• oSupports the evening economy year round
• oProvides background atmosphere to Christmas Shopping in Horsham town centre
• oCreates a visual statement at some of Horsham's 'gateways' that the 'experience starts here'
• oUses a series of different lighting features around the town to 'badge' different areas and encourage more footfall circulation 'to see them all'
• oDoes not exceed the Council's allocated budget of ?19,000 per annum
